Ffxiv audio crackling. on December 21st, 2021. Endwalker's audio update Crackling Audio returns if turned on and equalizer is set to bass/treble/voice Sound effects, specifically combat sound effects, sound muffled and like it's underwater when the audio pack is turned on. 0. 01 patch the audio crackle returned. After a lot of research, it seems this issue is a problem across the game for quite some time. But some of them have been able to fix this issue easily. I'm attempting one more thing I can do from my end to work around the issue: Forcing windows to run FFXIV with an "above normal" priority just in case the issue is caused by screwy buffering/scheduling of resources.
